The Samantha Rose Candle Company was created in 2020 by Mackenzie Ofordire to honor and continue the legacy of her daughter Samantha Rose, who is in heaven due to a late term pregnancy loss.

Wanting to learn more about maternal health issues, Mackenzie began doing research and learned that 1 in 4 women will experience a pregnancy loss whether during pregnancy, delivery or infancy. She also learned about a multitude of health issues that affect women and their families during pre-conception, pregnancy and postpartum.

As a way to cope during the isolating global pandemic, Mackenzie began making candles. She thought these candles would not only bring comfort to herself but also to others. She began sharing them with friends and co-workers who enjoyed them! Wanting to make a difference and seeing how much people enjoyed her candles, the Samantha Rose Candle Company was born.

Our company’s mission is to bring awareness to maternal health issues and donate a percentage of the profits to organizations that support these causes.

What products does your company offer?

We currently offer 8 ounce, all-natural soy candles that contain phthalate-free premium fragrance oils.

What is your company’s mission?

Where is your company located?

Our candles are made in the USA and currently hand-poured in Columbus, Ohio.

Can I put my candle on a candle warmer?

Yes, you can….but we recommended burning the candle. This is due to continued use on a candle warmer may make the wick loose and detach from the bottom.

Do you offer customized candle orders?

Yes, but let’s discuss what your needs are!. We have done small individual 2 ounce candle tins for bridal gifts, holiday gifts, etc. Please email us at samantharosecandlecompany@gmail.com to

What is your return/exchange policy?

Thank you for shopping at Samantha Rose Candle Co! All sales are final. 

However, we understand that damage during shipping may occur. We package everything with care, but if there is an instance where your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us at samantharosecandlecompany@gmail.com. To process a damage claim we must receive photo of the damaged item(s), the packaging it was shipped in and your order number, to enable us to quickly work to replace your order. 

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes and Internationally?

Yes, we ship to P.O. Boxes and ask that you list it as P.O. Box (xxx).

At the moment we are not shipping internationally. We currently only ship to all 50 states within the United States of America.

How long will it take my order to ship?

Our current lead time is 2-3 business days for production and due to volume orders may take 2-5 days to process. Please be aware that many shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, etc.) are experiencing delays and staff shortages due to COVID -19 and its aftermath so the delivery date of your item(s) may depend on the acceptance by the carrier, their processing times, and the destination of the item(s).

As soon as your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number. If you do not receive a tracking email after you have placed an order, please contact us at samantharosecandlecompany@gmail.com and we will try to rectify this situation. 

How often should I trim my candle wick?

You should trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch before use. Keeping the wick trimmed will help to prolong the life of your candle and allow for the cleanest burn possible.
